The Good Liar
The Good Liar when I saw the film I remembered that, despite what many believe, all films are suspenseful. The Good Liar The magic consists of leaving little clues or clues throughout the plot that lead us to an end that is logical on the one hand and that moves or surprises us a bit on the other. And it is something that The Good Liar -The Good Liar- does not achieve, despite the great cast it has.
This should be key in a film in which in the end they “reveal” the true identity of the liar. In the foreground we find Roy Courtnay (Ian Mckellen) who is a professional con artist. Along with one of his scams, he meets Betty McLeish (Helen Mirren) through a dating portal, apparently a calm older woman eager to form an emotional bond.
